IWE 1100B+
Wireless_LAN-to-LAN Bridge

OvisLink's IWE1100B+ IEEE 802.11b-based wireless LAN-to-LAN Bridge offer versatile and cost-effective a low-cost way to joint LAN segments that may be far separate (e.g., in different buildings) to a complete network.

It can be configured either as an AP (Access Point) interface or a LAN-to-LAN bridge interface. Therefore, it flexibly provides Access Point and Bridge function simultaneously to fit vary wireless applications. The high-performance radio allows. Moreover, it can optional support 22Mbps data rate for double speed of wireless backbone connections !

The default antennas can be replaced with high-gain directional/omni-directional antennas for different purposes. It also provides the Antenna Alignment Assistance in Wi-Link Network Manager Suite that can allow the antenna aligning can be easily adjusted without using the eyes !

The optional POE function allows the power feeding by Ethernet cable to eliminate the additional power line requirement in special install environment. With the sleek and intuitive Web-based user interface, the IWE1100B+ can be easily managed and satisfied by system integrators’ various requirements.

Usage Scenarios
LAN-to-LAN
The bridge can be used to join two LAN segments in two buildings into a complete network. By using high-gain antennas, the distance between two buildings can be miles long.

Co-existing AP and Bridge Function
The bridge can also be used in a "star" like application to join up to 6 network segments.

Wireless AP Client
Can associated with any 3rd party AP, there’re 2 applications ---

  • Bridge to single Ethernet Device
  • Bridge to Ethernet LAN for multiple devices.
