Warranty Service & RMA
Ovislink warrants its networking products against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years for hubs, switches and PCMCIA cards and a limited lifetime warranty for network cards, from the date of original purchase unless specified a warraty time for the particular product. During this period, Ovislink will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts at Ovislink's option without charge to you. 

Warranties extended only to defects which occur during normal use and do not extend to damage to products which results from alteration, repair, faulty installation, unusual physical or electrical stress, such as wrong power supply, lightening struck, or service by anyone.

It is required to pay the round trip shipping for the return item that need to service if it is purchased not directly from Ovislink, but expected to get the service from Ovislink. In this case, a valid payment will be arranged before sending back the return item. Customer needs to pay the one way shipping for the return item, which is  purchased from Ovislink directly.

Please read the following return merchandise authorization (RMA) procedure for obtaining service on your product.

1. Print the RMA form and completely fill out requested information (Acrobat Reader required)

2. Fax your RMA form back to us or email an electronic copy of the RMA form to: rma@ovislink.ca

3. We will contact you shortly to issue an RMA number or reason for denial

4. Write this RMA number on your form and enclose a copy along with your package

Please note our RMA service turn around period is from two to five business days.

  • All returned items should be packed in the original packing materials.
  • Please mark your RMA number on outside of the box.
  • Ovislink will not process any returns without an RMA number
