The EtherWAN Xpresso 1608CF1 and 1608CF2 provide inexpensive means for interconnecting between buildings in a campus or industrial environment or any multi-tenant location covering large areas. The fiber port(s) provide the long distance capability. A combination of fiber and TX ports in a compact box makes the Xpresso 1608CF1 and CF2 ingenious yet simple answers to complicated networking needs.

The EtherWAN Xpresso switches represent the newest generation in Ethernet switching technology. EtherWAN takes advantage of a unique fast Ethernet switching ASIC. Store-and-forward checks the packets' validity before forwarding, true non-blocking architecture ensures full wire-speed, and auto-negotiation makes the transition from legacy 10Mbps to fast Ethernet 100Mbps smooth and transparent. These quality designs optimize performance and value.

Xpresso 1608CF1 and 1608CF2 deliver the power of 100Mbps switching and the distance of fiber connection at a very aggressive price. Their compact size is ideal for wall-mounting or desktop. The fiber port(s) accommodates SC, ST, or the newest, small form factor MT-RJ or VF-45 connectors. Installation and operation involves simply plugging in cabling and connecting power. The Xpresso 1608CF1 and Xpresso 1608CF2 represent affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use LAN solutions.
