The
OV711CS is the next version of the OV711C
ADSL CPE. With improved layout, hardware and firmware design it obtains
better performance.
The OV711CS supplies two
versions of firmware to meet customer needs. One is default bridging mode,
another is default routing mode. The pre configured bridging modem allow
Internet Service Provider to lend their subscribers a PnP CPE to eliminate
the tech support. The routing mode provides the OV711CS owner to use the
built in PPPoE and DHCP to get and share Internet connections.
With routing mode, the OV711C
supports multiple Application Level Gateway (ALG) algorithms. It allows
Windows Messenger users easily to get voice and video communication without
any configurations. It also supports VPN pass through (IPSec - ESP Tunnel
mode, T2PT and PPTP). Its Virtual Server has the port range forwarding
(mapping) feature to meet multi online application tasks. If necessary,
its DMZ function will open all port to a local computer for special applications.
The OV711CS is a smart choice
for ISPs, Telcos (bridge mode), small companies and residences (routing/bridging
mode).
* Note:
The routing mode activation may be upon the approval by ISPs or Telcos
if not the CPE owner.
