The CT-1000/CT-1020 is a DSL Concentrator designed for MTU/MDU/MHU applications. It provides data access and voice service over existing copper telephone wires. With the CT-1000/CT-1020, carriers or other service providers can profitably offer high-speed Internet access to tenants of high-rise buildings, because there is no need to rewire the building. By using Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology, the CT-1000/1020 provides a cost-effective and scalable infrastructure to meet the requirements of a wide range of building tenants. The CT-1000/CT-1020 allows different interchangeable DSL channel units to coexist in the same shelf and provides a 10/100M WAN Ethernet port to concentrate the traffic on an IP network. This makes the CT-1000/CT-1020 a flexible solution for deployment in high-rise buildings, communities, campuses, or hospitals. The CT-1000/1020 is compatible with a wide range of Ovislink's DSL products including ADSL modems (CT-300), ADSL routers (CT-500), SHDSL modems (CT-320), and SHDSL routers (CT-520).
